Acts of Beauty

Watching my grandma bake is a beautiful thing. She bakes almost everyday, and has such a passion for it. Most of the treats she bakes she gives away to neighbors, grand kids, or people who do kind deeds for her to show her appreciation. Let me tell you, her baking is delicious, and also a work of art!

My best friends playing basketball is also an act of beauty. Not only do I love to play this sport, but I also love to watch it, especially at a high level with great speed and intensity. 

Manufactured Beauty

I find this zebra pillow pet to be one of the most beautiful things I own. Not only is he the cutest thing you'll ever see, but he's basically like a pet to me, being that I don't have one of my own. The greatest thing about him is that he's a pillow and a pet! He's a pet when I'm feeling lonely, and a very comfortable pillow when he's folded out.

The iPad is a beautiful piece of technology. There are an unlimited amount of things that can be done on it, as well as it being small enough to bring around everywhere. I love how it is all touch screen, but it also has an attachable keyboard if wanted. I will for sure own one of these in the near future.

Beautiful Music

This song is so adorable and beautiful because it's about a young boy who finds his dad as a role model and someone to look up to. The beauty is especially shown through the innocence of the young boy and how he's watching his dad and picking up on all the little things he does , in hopes of being just like him someday.

Something I've done that I find beautiful

This is the ball that I scored my 1000th point with. I find this beauty because ever since I was a young girl, I've dreamed of that very moment. I worked hard at the sport my whole life, and it just goes to show that it payed off. It was a beautiful moment shared by a group of people who helped me reach this goal, and it will stick with me forever.

Modern piece of art

I love this painting! This is exactly how I think beauty is viewed, in the eyes of the beholder. Every person sees things differently, and that's what makes beauty so special. All people have different views and perspectives. It's just how they are willing to recognize and be open to the beauty that is surrounding them.

Something that is not beautiful

Bullying is not beautiful. I just can't seem to understand why people feel the need to put others down and make them feel bad about themselves. I don't see the point in it, as it is just unnecessary and cruel. I also feel the reasoning for bullying is pointless. If a person really needs to take down others due to jealousy or making them feel better about themselves, it just goes to show how immature and selfish they're being. 

Spontaneous Beauty

Anything that has sequins on  it attracts my eye. I love how shiny and flashy they are, and how they sparkle when light reflects off of them! I have many clothes with all different assortments of colorful sequins. I don't think I'll ever become tired of them. 

Artificial Beauty

This is the inside of St. Bernard's church. The bricking on the wall is simple, but has such a neat look to it because it's put together so well. Above the cross is a stain glassed window, which is hard to see, but it lets in the sunlight. The church is an open and spacious area, making it a very welcoming and calming atmosphere to be in. It's a great place to sit in and be thankful for all that i have.

The outdoor pool that I belong to in TRF is also an artificial beauty. The pool itself is all painted white and has tiles on the sides near the top of it. The water is always clean and enjoyable to be in. Outside of the pool are white lawn chairs to lay in to soak up the sun, and also tables with umbrella's to bring lunch along with to eat. The fence around the pool makes it very private so that the public can't look in. It's my all time favorite place to be in the summer.

Beautiful Video

This video is beautiful in so many ways. The way the girl fought through her cancer, her supportive family, the prom date shaving his head to make the girl feel less self conscious, and the graceful stage dancers all play a role in the beauty of this video. I always get goose bumps from watching it.

Something I take for granted

Eyes are my favorite part about humans. Their shades of color are beautiful and a lot can be discovered by the look that  a person has in their eyes. I take my vision for granted each and every day, by just expecting to be able to see when I wake up each morning. It really is a privilege though, because without vision, I wouldn't be able to see all of the beauty in the world.

Natural Beauty

I think rainbows are a beautiful part of nature. Their mixture of bright colors help cheer up the mood after a rainy day. 

Just a typical summer day in my friends backyard. Days like this with the blue sky, minimal clouds, green grass, and calm river make me realize the beauty we have in TRF. It easily brightens my day. :)
